INDIANAPOLIS (USA) (June 26, 2009) – Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC, has named veteran sales and marketing professional Michael Sigillito as its new sales and marketing director.

“Michael has been a strong performer for many years within Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO), our sister company,” said Mike Cerio, president of Firestone Industrial Products. “We look forward to him taking an instrumental role in solidifying our position as the world’s foremost air spring manufacturer. He is a tremendous asset to this company, and he will be a driving force in maximizing Firestone Industrial Products’ market opportunities, as well as in providing extensive support to our customers and partners.”

Sigillito has served in several key sales and marketing management roles throughout his 27-year tenure with BATO. Most recently, he was the director of retail, channel and Canadian marketing for BATO.

 

In addition to the Sigillito appointment, Firestone Industrial Products announced that Emily Poladian and Mark Hilburger will join the sales management team.

 

Poladian has been named heavy duty distributor sales manager. With 11 years of experience at Firestone Industrial Products, she previously held the positions of product engineer and sales engineer for industrial sales. Most recently, she was senior sales engineer for original equipment (OE) sales.

 

Hilburger has been named heavy duty OE sales manager. He joined Firestone Industrial Products as a product engineer in 1995 and was later promoted to the positions of senior product engineer and senior sales engineer. He has also served as business development manager and played an integral role in managing the development of a new Firestone Industrial Products air springs manufacturing facility in Costa Rica that opened in April.
