Indianapolis, Ind. (Mar. 5, 2007)— Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC, (FSIP) was named 2006 Supplier of the Year by United Auto Parts’ (UAP) heavy duty vehicle parts division. The award was announced at UAP’s 2007 National Sales Meeting, held in Montreal, Quebec Jan. 12-14.
            Nominees for the award were rated by a 33-member voting committee in each of six categories: product offering (quality); 2005 supplier performance; representation and support; participation in national, regional and local programs/events; administration (price updates, invoicing); and replenishment (consistent order fulfillment).

The company has been supplying AIRIDETM heavy duty aftermarket parts to UAP since 1994.
