MOSCOW (Aug. 14, 2007) — Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC (FSIP) has received the Russian Manufacturer Certificate to import and sell Firestone-brand air springs throughout Russia. The company has also named Crawford Hill as its official warehouse for Firestone air springs.
The Russian market operates under regulations requiring all automotive components be certified by the Russian Certification Agency for importation and distribution. For FSIP to achieve this certification, the Agency reviewed FSIP’s product testing data and quality control processes
as well as conducted additional product testing in Russia to ensure they were of the highest quality.
FSIP products are warehoused and distributed through Crawford Hill, located at 2 Avtomotornaya Street in Moscow, Crawford Hill has enabled Firestone to make air springs available locally, and for purchase using local currency. In addition, the Crawford Hill partnership provides Firestone
customers in Russia with prompt and professional service.
